RSS FAQ

  • Does witch Hazel content in RSS dries out the skin?

The Witch Hazel contained in RSS comes from water-distilled extract, differing from the other drying Witch Hazel that comes from 70% alcohol extraction. To counter the Astringent properties from the Witch Hazel itself, we included Rosehip Seed Oil which moisturises the skin and Centella Asiatica to soothe.

  • Does Niacinamide cause breakout?

RSS contains 1.3% Niacinamide which is mild to the skin and a great start for beginners hence it hardly causes any negative reaction such as irritation, breakout or stinging. However, if there is such an occurrence, you might be allergic to Niacinamide or other ingredients in RSS.

  • How long does it take to see the effect?

It depends on the health of your skin. Normal skin will take 2-8 weeks to see significant changes while compromised skin will normally take longer than that.

  • Can I use more than one serum?

Yes, as long as there are skin concerns to be solved, you may add serums based on specific focuses. The order of usage should start from the thinner consistency to a thicker one.

  • How long does it take to repair a broken skin barrier?

Broken skin barrier should take 2-8 weeks to recover. Signs of repaired skin barrier include less hypersensitive, not prone to breakout, no redness or inflammation, and ideal oil regulation.
